Deciding to Bug In: The Australian Experience – Episode 132

Australian Return: Deciding to Bug-in

This is the rehash episode where I (Aaron) wanted to talk about ‘bugging in’, this episode also continues with the interesting adventures of returning to Australian life.

‘Bugging in’ is similar to the term ‘bugging-out’, it is the term commonly used by many preppers and military personnel when they find themselves in a undesired location and need to quickly vacate. Preppers are people which are preparing for the end of days mega event, or any situation where they may need to defend their survival. Plans need to be made for extreme situations, like where everyone looses the plot, turns crazy and start killing themselves or mass zombie attacks. Either way, you and perhaps a small team are the only ones who are now ready to save the planet and continue the human race.

Roughly two years ago I relocated to Mexico, which was suppose to be the key part of my planned bug-out mission. Other key factors in consideration were, a location on high ground, abundance of fresh food, preferably local farming, resistant population with traditional skills and a society with a high percentage of physical cash. Guadalajara, Mexico – Perfect!

Now having returned to Australia after an extended time in Mexico, its almost like the execution of my doomsday prepper’s plan to leave Australia didn’t happen at all. So here is where I was suppose to talk about the master bug-in plan. ‘Bugging-in’ is what happens when a prepper is unable to leave an undesired location, or when their location becomes the safest option, perhaps from a lack of local knowledge or planning. Usually this means boarding up the windows of your house or apartment and bunkering down. Of course a prepper would have this all organised, bug out bag packed (Bug in bag in this case), survival supplies, long-life food and weapons.

However with Australia being the extreme country it is, everyone should be prepared to be bugging in or bugging out on a weekend basis. By the way camping and outdoor life is the favourite Aussie pass time, so I guess most of us already do that.

What drugs do you use to contact aliens? – Episode 131

The Story: Using psychedelics to contact extraterrestrials

Many people believe that it’s possible, and even likely, that intelligent life exists outside of our little planet. However, when it comes looking at potential evidence, many would prefer to dismiss it. To find evidence of something which, to us, might be bizarre, we have to look at the bizarre, diving in to the unexpected. We have to consider evidence of UFOs, strange structures on Mars, and mediums channelling interstellar communciations – and, we should consider that maybe, they might contact us even more directly, by telepathic communication instigated by powerful hallucinogenic drugs. Could peyote or LSD help you to receive such a communication? In this video I make the case that, maybe they could.

Psychedelic Che Guevara Mandela Effect – Episode 130

The Story: A Che Guevara T-Shirt and questions about his past

Che Guevara is a very controversial figure. Many idolise him, many detest him, and many are left confused about the wide gap between these two points of view. Of course, many people had the incentive to lie about Che. The Cuban government wanted to present him as a hero, a warrior who fought against the oppression of foreign interests, and as a gentle soul, a doctor who wanted to heal people. The US government wanted to present him as “The Butcher of La Cabaña”, an evil, twisted, sadistic man, a fraud posing as a fighter, a heartless murderer and rapist who valued nothing more than the blood of his enemies, and his allies.

Some say that destroying the symbols of a good thing, such as hope or fortune, can have a kind of magical or psychological effect – something like the “Newspeak” discussed in George Orwell’s famous book, “1984”. If you remove the ability to discuss a certain thing, that can make it harder to think that thought. If you take a symbol such as a swastika, which was known almost all over the world as a symbol of good luck, fortune, and even God Itself, and change it to a symbol of hatred, murder, and even pure evil, how much will that serve to confuse people? And to those who still believe that Che’s was a symbol of hope, of revolution, of better things to come, if you wanted to destroy their future, would it be enough to destroy the symbol? As the saying goes, the winners write the history books. Are they still rewriting them?

In this episode we talk about Che Guevara as an icon, and discuss whether it’s possible that governments may still want to destroy it, how a Che T-shirt can apparently appear out of nowhere, and how governments may take the time to rewrite history. We also discuss Kurt’s ideas of continuing to take psychedelics, pushing the mind to new frontiers, and about bargaining in life and death situations.

‘Belief’ Is Your Superpower: Gravity Vs Magnetism – Episode 129

‘Belief’ Is Your Superpower

Lets take an idea from within the idea that life is just an experience to be hacked. Assuming that the current human experience in nothing more than an experiment within a holographic universe, which is generated on constructs made up of data and code. A hyper complex simulation – where the information and instructions blend to become the rules of the game. These rules are just data and code, not fixed, malleable and of course, to be broken (As seen in the matrix).

We are the ones experiencing and creating this holographic reality, as players of this game – creating and participating, having been born into certain beliefs and assumptions. You may one day wonder, are we playing correctly, to our full potential or, are we even playing to win – if winning is what is the desired outcome. When you begin to question the boundaries of controllable reality, where and when did you decide to limit yourself? Where is the boundary of choice and/ or your interactive limit? Where is the boundary of you, your mind, your body, your human experience, your reality/or your total experienced environment?

It may be possible to expand yourself beyond the accepted norms, without limits – you would be able to adjust external parts of reality, just as you do with parts of yourself. Remember, it is only just rules of the program and to change the rules – you must understand that you are the rules. When playing a game, understanding the rules and outcomes will allow you to hack the game. When you incorporate the knowledge that you are the creator, choose to become a bigger game, as you are able to encompass it all.

Understanding the rules will help you play, but being the rules will give you the game.

Ayzee Returns to Australia – Episode 128

The Story: The return to Australia

To start this episode I wanted to talk about ‘bugging in’. Which in my world means, returning to Australia and reintegrating back into the first-world reality. But, of course we were distracted (mainly myself) and begin talking off topic. However, in a roundabout way we end up covered related stuff.
So after two years of Mexican experience under my belt, Australia doesn’t seem quite the same. Over all it feels pre-fabricated, packaged up and somewhat plastic like. Everything is in order and a sense control can be found everywhere. Everything is very tidy and neat. Everyone that arrives from somewhere else knows that – Australia is a dream. But, I believe deep down within the self, in the dark shadowy parts of the human experience, human beings have normal and natural urges to dislike such a level of nice. Somewhat like the urge that arises when approaching freshly poured concrete – to put your foot through it, or to at least write my name in it. Perhaps there is something wrong with me, looking for the imperfections that accompany these feelings towards this wonderful perfect world called Australia.
In this episode Kurt and I have an impromptu conversation based around my return to Australia. We discuss a few stories which I overheard on the local news, thoughts on the Australian real estate bubble and possible issues with the Australia welfare system. These ideas were originally shared by sponsored television programming.

Anam Paiseanta: The peaceful political revolution – Episode 127

The Story: The peaceful political revolution

There is a natural phenomenon happening where ‘very normal’ people find themselves asking obvious and straightforward questions about everyday things. What’s happening to the weather? What’s happening to my neighbourhood? What’s happening to my investments? Many people can feel that there is something not right. These occurrences are now increasing, the questions are growing, people are peeling back the layers of illusion and asking for truth.

Now we live in a very different and very connected world, where social media and alternative media channels have been fueling ‘the awakening’. The sharing of knowledge, truth and ideas is having a massive effect in the fight to increase awareness. For all of us this is an on-going process, and the spiritual shift is now well underway, though we still have a long way to go.

In this episode Anam Paiseanta joins us to explain that we, as a society, must evolve individually, and join together, to consciously out grow of the current political system. The personal principles needed to get us all moving in the right direction can be found in anarchism. These are all ‘normal’ things – the love and respect for mankind, justice, cooperation, voluntaryism, the non-aggression-principle, personality responsibility and self-ownership. Your personal evolution will path the way to a much larger and social and political revolution. Anam also tells us about the progress on his team’s “Connector” app, which will allow people to connect with like-minded individuals, and even form hidden, counter-economies among themselves.

Here is where Anam’s formula of “A-Cubed” or “the three A’s” is leading to the evolution that enables the real world revolution:
1. Awakening – Sharing knowledge, memes – reminding each other of truth
2. Activism – Prevention of government indoctrination by educating the youth, alternative schooling
3. Agorism – Projects – Counter-economics, creating the new system, what can I do to add value?

The time is now – to tune in and turn up. The Paradise Paradox presents Anam Paiseanta!

Ideas are the currency of gods – Episode 126

The Story: An economics lesson from aliens about ideas

There are many qualities which make for sound money – durability, recognisability, portability, acceptability, and so on. Gold and silver have many of these qualities, as does Bitcoin. Then, you might have heard someone say this idea: “Ideas are the currency of the 21st century.” Can ideas really function as money? Do they have what it takes?

Ideas certainly are durable. Some ideas have been around for thousands of years and still show no sign of slowing down. Ideas are certainly recognisable – but perhaps good ideas and mind-blowing ideas are only recognisable to certain people. Ideas are certainly portable – much more so than a cow or even an ounce of gold. Using radio waves, it’s possible that ideas could be transported between worlds, without even exerting much energy. With some other form of technology, some kind of telepathy, perhaps ideas could even be transported between universes. And naturally, when they arrived, they would be much more likely to be accepted as being valuable, compared to silver or the information for a Bitcoin transfer.

We can see, at least in these few respects, ideas might make very good currency, though there would still be many questions to be asked.

In this episode, we discuss how valuable ideas are, how they might be used as ideas, and what kind of ideas might be considered valuable. We also discuss Kurt’s success on the Steemit platform, and how it’s progressing as a medium.

My Clockwork Hometown – Episode 125

The Story: Returning to your home town, to find it exactly as you left it

Many travellers and adventurers, having spent years outside of the bubble they were born in, are often puzzled to return home and find things almost exactly as they left them. Their old colleagues are still working in the same jobs, dating the same women that they always said they would break up with, plodding along as if their life wasn’t a conscious act of creation – but instead, a train on a single rail, going back and forth between destinations… Or a simple clockwork toy, with a basic, prescribed set of behaviours, clapping its cymbals and dancing on the spot… A non-player character following its script. As a wise man once said, there is nothing which can show you how much you have changed, as to go back to a place where things are always the same.

But what if they are not just the same in our minds, but literally the same – never having changed since we’ve left? And when we get back, the simulation in which we live, struggles to formulate some sort of baseline level of story to present us with, when we return to our hometown. Our consciousness breathes life into these places, making it seem real once more, just for a few days or weeks while we visit. There’s no way we can ever know for sure, for whatever is outside the bounds of our awareness, must always remain outside the bounds of our knowledge.

In this episode, Kurt has a conversation with Aaron about his momentous return to his hometown, experiencing that feeling as if nothing has changed, noticing how people don’t recognise him any more, wondering what that says about him, and about the nature of the universe we live in. The most dangerous man in your world – Episode 124

The most dangerous man in your world – Episode 124

In this episode we are going for a man hunt, who is the most dangerous man in the world? In normal life, this is such a silly question, but lets play with it out. For ‘someone’ to be dangerous to you, they need to be real person that is  actually in your reality. Generally a dangerous person is someone that is able or likely to cause you harm or injury, most people will never cross paths with a  person in this category. However, television will create this concern and pump the message that terrorists are dangerous, yet I have never seen one and personally don’t know any.
Here is the idea: In my world, I am the most dangerous man in the world – this is because I am taking responsibility for the happenings within my reality. This is based on the idea that we all have our own individual created worlds, which is based on personal perspectives and belief systems.

Freedom via belief systems

In order to free our minds we must reconsider the rules of the game. We have all accepted a set of organised beliefs which guide our lives and sent the boundaries of our reality. which the majority have been passed on to us without any second thought.
Here is a definition from wikipedia: “A belief system is a set of mutually supportive beliefs. The beliefs of any such system can be classified as religious, philosophical, ideological, or a combination of these”. Another definition that might make more sense is: ‘Belief systems are the stories we tell ourselves to define our personal sense of Reality’ (Pdf).
Lets not see the world so subjective, there is no longer right and wrong, things just are as they are. Your mind can decide your preferences, you know deep in your soul that there are many paths, some easy and others hard. What you would prefer to deal with and how much you can you load your plate.

Becoming an ideas generator

Its important that we are have our own ideas and constantly have flow of fresh ideas. Free thinking opens you mind to new ideas rather than shutting down those ideas that don’t fit into your current belief systems. An open mind allows new thought to drop into your mind on a random basis. Not all ideas are unique and ideas are often not always yours. Ideas tend to be associated and are often sparked by your immediate surroundings.
Now be honest with your self, how many ideas do you have? How often does a new idea spontaneously pop up? Ideas require attention, otherwise like friends they will stop dropping in. If you are one who thinks they don’t generate many ideas, start an idea journal – you would be surprised how many ideas you have, but haven’t noticed. To help yourself join and birth more ideas – try exposing yourself to alternative topics and interest groups. This is as simple as reading genres that are not naturally on your personal list.

Bugging out on a daily basis

Bugging out concerns taking preventative planning, this is about taking your ideas and putting and creating action. How does one do this? Committing yourself your ideas with complete belief – changes the way you choose to live your life. Knowing that your idea is going to make your world better should be enough to get yourself started.
Trusting that the path is open for you to follow through will clear any speed bumps from your desired direction. The action doesn’t need to be of any great size, little steps for the greater good will open new realities. Your sheer positive intention will create the needed momentum. Being prepared for your day will take the average joe from zero to hero.
We don’t need to plan for the emergency scenario situations, at least not at first. Pack for your average day out with a few surprise items, matches, water bottle, bandaids, pair socks for your partner and your favourite machete.
One last thing once packed – don’t leave home without your day game back pack.

Decision maker: Getting your priorities straight – Episode 123

The Story: Travelling, making decisions, and taking responsibility for them

When people are talking about the decisions they make in their lives, it’s common for people to say things like “I should do this,” “I have to do that,” “I need to…” using many phrases that indicate an obligation. But nobody is holding a gun to their heads, so why do they say they “have to”? The fact is, it’s extremely rare that you don’t have a choice in the course of action you’re going to take. More commonly, we make choices, avoiding negative consequences or seeking positive consequences.

As an example, suppose your sister is getting married in a foreign country – which happens to be a real inconvenience for you. You don’t want to experience the negative attention that you’ll receive from your family if you decide not to go, but you also want to enjoy time with your family, and be there to support your sister in what might be one of the most important days in her life. Remember, you don’t “have to” go. You decide to go, because you decided that family is important; you decided to make family a priority, despite the inconvenience.

In this episode, Kurt and Aaron discuss the importance of taking responsibility for your own actions, remembering that it’s you who is in control of your own life, and also some interesting stories from Aaron going through airports, travelling, occasionally struggling with the company of his family, and enjoying the company of his family.
