The Story:
To set foot in a country where you know nobody, where you barely know the language, and you don’t really know what to expect, is a thrill that too few people experience. Will you able to get around, buy food, manage to not get your drink spiked and your organs involuntarily donated to a sicario’s trust fund? Probably. But you can never be quite sure until you stare into yourself and find the courage to do something a little crazy.
Your friends might be supportive of your decision, or they might try to scare you with wild third-hand stories that they’ve heard repeated, dumping all their fear and insecurities on you to prevent you to do something truly interesting. In any case, the ultimate decision must come from you, guiding your finger onto the mouse, to trick it into pressing “confirm”, before you can chicken out.
In this episode, Kurt tells a story about his first trip in Colombia, deciding to make a journey to Cartagena to visit a costeño friend, armed only with the words “Come to the Isla de Barú my friend; don’t worry – it is easy to find,” and a little faith. Unfortunately, arriving at the island wasn’t as simple as it first seemed. Join us on another adventure, in this episode of The Paradise Paradox.

The Story:
Everyone has their favourite holiday season, we all love the summer break, Christmas and Easter. As for myself and many other free minds we celebrate ideas and giving freedom to our fellow man. This event like many other holidays only happens once a year, it has become the new perfect reason to quit your job, to retire or at least take a few weeks off work. Kurt and I have attended this event for 2 years running – and many others that attended decided to remain in Acapulco, either way – see you at Anarchapulco!
Here we have for you another behind the scenes episode of the greatest event, being ‘Anarchapulco’. In this episode we discuss how important Anarchapulco has become for the Paradise Paradox. For the reason that there is an interesting dynamic that is cultivated at this event. Firstly everyone brings shared values and when spending time with many many people that understand and seek similar passions, there is a light generated at the end of the tunnel. We choose peace, love and Anarchy and this holiday/conference is celebrated in Acapulco, Mexico.
In the second half of this episode Kurt explains to me an important principle, which many understand and follow in their everyday lives. Basically this principle outlines that one should not inflict violence against others. However, this principal has much deeper implications, that many may not have considered. Have you asked yourself – Where do I draw the line when others want to inflict violence against me? or, how do I feel about living in a society that threatens violence to control people? At what level am I willing to accept violence in my life..? These are the questions that leaves one wondering… if our society is so modern and civilised why do bodies of governance lower themselves to such medieval ways?
I tell a story about getting an unusual inside look into the sex industry in Colombia, and accompanying a friend to an unusual job interview. Read more →

The Story:
This would be my idea of a typical childhood experience – wearing dads shoes and to play with his work stuff. This activity creates a thought channel of ‘when I grow up..?’ questions. Do you remember those thoughts – when ‘I grow up’ I want to be a superman-hero. A child has the ability to imagine without limits and to approach things with a curious nature. Ironically, the growing up process changes your priorities and pulls you away from childhood behaviour. There’s a dangerous idea here, Perhaps, we should fight to keep ourselves well adjusted to the behaviour of children?
Now that my 20’s have well expired, I realise that anyone can experience a surprise brain transplant. In these cases a self-recover is sometimes recommended, if only to avoid further illness. Any little change can be very healthy and should be encouraged. Once a self-managed personal change has been executed, the process of change becomes less daunting and change can easily become a new reset button. Big change can unleash the dynamo-superman, where one’s capacity allows for simultaneous activity paths. Irrespective of previous activity, finding a passion will not be limited by formal education and/or training. However, its important to be realistic and to have perfect expectations, if any at all.
The internet is the portal to infinite information, education and know how. Youtube has become the ever expanding open text book. Now coupled with mobile technology and powered by social-media, today anyone can become anything. In the case of reality we realise that there is a need for real-ness in this cyber world. People want to connect and share real life news and perspectives. Alternative media, bloggers and content creators are arriving to an open buffet. Human awareness says, we need you! Supply and demand! Begin by documenting your life, start with a journal – Build a media empire? ‘We are all journalists now’!
Idea: Stretching back time.
Life speeds up when you are not present, if one drifts off into no time. They will lose real earth experience time. In this case – the desired outcome is to maximise life, by experiencing more decisions. In order to increase the correct balance decisions vs predetermined-decisions. You must be making decisions in the moment, ‘thinking in time’ can only pull you away from the reality event flow. Less thinking will give you a much bigger experience. Maybe we shouldn’t be thinking to hard – Harmony is to make decisions without thinking, perhaps Intuition?
However, this shouldn’t mean we drop daily decisions. Routines can be helpful in increasing productivity, unfortunately the predetermined decisions do not test one’s ability to decided in the moment. Failing to execute a ‘choice’ is unhealthy and lowering the number of daily decisions – is not ideal. People have the capacity to become zombies, failing to work the ‘choice’ muscle. This leads to a overly dominant personal auto-pilot. Flying high above the serviceable reality, which causes time – to appear accelerated and your surrounds take on a complete faster nature.

The Story:
This could be one of my favourite PP-Dice-Dox themes ‘Anarchapulco Nights!’ In this episode Kurt and I discuss more of our personal experiences from the largest anarchist conference in the world, Anarchapulco! The conference itself offers packed days of paradigm shattering topics and long nights of thought provoking discussions – which takes a solid toll on the minds eye.
In this episode we share a few funny stories from behind the scenes. As well as the weirdness of being around so many interesting super heroes. Attending the event immerses you in an empowering scene with so many inspiring people. This could be a rare experience for many of us. However, when sharing your own personal story, you may realise that we all have the capacity to be inspiring, when and if you are willing to make the leap.

The Story:
Aaron had the chance to jump on The Infinite Expansion podcast with fellow Anarchapulco attendee, Tim Bryant, of The Last American Vagabond, to have a discussion about the benefits of Ethereum and how it is ushering in a new era of financial technology – even while many banks are still just getting involved with blockchain technology, and many regular people still don’t know what Bitcoin is.
Ethereum is billed as an “international computer”, a way to execute computer code using a widely distributed network all over the world, a development which not even its users and developers yet understand its full implications or possible implementations.
Aaron and Tim talk about the benefits of Ethereum to be used in smart contracts, how it might work in conjunction with other cryptocurrencies, and how cryptocurrency is sometimes rejected in the truth movement, even though it might well be perfectly aligned with their goals.
Join us as we propel ourselves into the future on this next episode of The Infinite Expansion podcast and The Paradise Paradox!

The Story:
In this episode Aaron and Kurt discuss some of the late action to come to Bitcoin. Aaron recently attended the CDMX Bitcoin meetup in Mexico City, where he tunes into the Mexican bitcoin vibe. Although the spotlight was taken by Ethereum and the DAO, it was still a Bitcoin meet up. The Bitcoin discussion took focus on the upcoming Bitcoin halving, where the mining reward falls from 25 bitcoins to 12.5 bitcoins per 10 minute block. This deflation mechanism is built into the Bitcoin blockchain algorithm, as outlined in the Bitcoin White Paper. The bitcoin currency is receiving much price speculation as a result of the supply and demand economics of this mathematical change. The past months have seen a gradual rise in the bitcoin price – this is believed to be an early result of the near halving. However, with endless factors in the bitcoin price discovery, nobody can ever state for sure. What we do know, is that, Bitcoin is growing up.
We are now 33 days or less away from the halving and everyone is keenly watching the bitcoin price. With early and positive movements in the bitcoin price, we can only look for hints in the Bitcoin statistics. A note taken at the Bitcoin meet up – Mexican bitcoin exchanges are experiencing an increased in exchange activity, this is based on the increased inflow of fiat currency for the exchange for bitcoin. Not just the active trade activity, there are huge increases in the fresh money into the bitcoin economy.
Sometimes its difficult to imagine the Bitcoin money system growing to equal the government constructed and controlled one, but there are many ways to view Bitcoin. Some see Bitcoin as new money, others see it as a fast remittance system and some of us see it as a technological advancement in world communication. Bitcoin is all these things and more; this is the beginning of a completely new era of world finance. By this I mean, Bitcoin is the game changer that most of us have been waiting for. The increased adoption of Bitcoin will have very heavy implications for governance, social ideologies, world economics and trade – and will leave those who think they are in charge, questioning their own levels of control. Here, they will find no choice but, to let ‘man’ free. This is one that only Father Time knows how it will play out and maybe the true nature of the financial super hero!

The Story:
Many people are just starting to hear about Bitcoin for the first time, and grappling with all their brain cells to understand the basics of how it might function, let alone its implications. Meanwhile, those who have been interested in cryptocurrency for years are continually looking forward to try to imagine or develop the next big thing, building on top of the base which Bitcoin has laid, and pushing into ever-more disruptive territories. The DAO, or decentralised autonomous organisation, is one project which has many people’s eyes fixated on it.
The DAO is a platform on which decentralised applications might run, allowing for decentralised arbitration services which move further towards making government courts of law redundant. Within a few short weeks, the DAO raised about $130 million through crowdfunding – the largest crowdfund in history to date. Of course, this is no guarantee of its success, but it does indicate the level of public support and faith that this project has behind it.
Will the DAO go on to transform the world? Or is it merely a stepping stone to building something even more ambitious, transformative, and disruptive? We discuss its potential in this episode of the Paradise Paradox.

The Story:
Have you ever heard of Apitherapy? Better yet, have you heard of stinging yourself to good health? Probably not. This is because alternative medical treatments do not receive big pharma endorsements, nor funding for research, nor commercial campaigns and of course no mainstream exposure. However, I found a recent article stating that Gwyneth Paltrow uses apitherapy, for its therapeutic value and as part of her health regimen. So, if Gwyneth partakes in the bee stings? You may beg the question, why?
Dave Asbury from the ‘Bulletproof Exec’ says that apitherapy may be one of the oldest biohacks around – which dates back to ancient times, Greece, Egypt, and China. Healing people with the medicinal qualities held in bee venom and honey bee products, is no secret. However the real power is in the natural human immune system. It is said that a low percentage of people are allergic to the bee stings. However, the truth is – everyone is allergic to the bee venom, just that the severity may vary. These immune reactions are often mistaken for allergic reactions.
In almost all cases the immune system automatically defends it self from this intruding substance. The bee venom in particular, triggers an overwhelming defence, sending the immune system into overdrive and directing all healing focus to the stung areas. This natural response to bee stings has been seen to have positive results in treating a wide range of illnesses. In addition the bee venom contains 40 different healing components including a mix of vitamins and minerals, these components work together to boost immunity and quicken the healing process.
Today we are going for a consultation with Doctor Carmen, she just happens to be an expert in stinging people with honey bees and has a long history of practicing apitherapy. Dr. Carmen says she has treated an endless list of disease and illnesses, just to name a few, Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, Parkinson’s and Lyme disease. In this episode Aaron will take on his child hood trauma and buckle himself into the front row seat of apitherapy. Aaron subjects himself to a total of six bee stings. He finds that the bee stings are not ideal and the reaction symptoms less desirable. No pain killers required and one may feel light headed – prepare yourself for an experience overload! Here is the next, Paradise Paradox!

The Story:
“El hombre propone y Dios dispose” is a Mexican saying, which basically means that, ‘Man’ can make plans, but if its not part of the lords plan – it is not likely to manifest. This saying has always rustled my jimmies, as it implies that I am not in control of, or responsible for, my own life. It questions the power of free-will and instills a powerless mentality, which may even encourage negligence and lead to the idea that ignorance is bliss.
Everything can happen for a reason, if you design a belief system to let it play that way. By this I mean, one must decide on the reason for the past events and interpret them in a positive way, in order to make greater opportunities for the future. Hopefully, in the moment you can see and choose an empowering significance for the events in your life.
In this episode we talk about how an Australian visa application was delayed and then how that turned into a surprise trip to New York City. Accompanied with a positive outlook which was designed to overcome any possible difficulties and discomforts. This was the door to a complete mind set of skills and allowing a complete shift in belief systems. Upload the events which set up a complete mindset change and check in on the power of self knowledge.
Then, in the second half of the episode, we jump into the deep end of cultural integrations, human migration and general one-world teething issues. This is it – tune into another dopamine twist. Get ready for time checks, you’re getting the inside track of the Paradise Paradox.
